Our Claims: Yellow Heat Furnace will burn unfiltered vegetable oil, as collected from restaurants and other sources. It is essentially smokeless in operation, and the lowest emitter of global warming gasses of any heating fuel other than firewood.

The heart of the Yellow Heat Furnace is the Yellow Heat Burner, which is a Babington Burner. The Babington principal allows the use of unfiltered oil of nearly any type to be easily combusted. To this we have added a special starting circuit whereby a small amount of conventional fuel is ignited, which transfers heat to the vegetable oil and allows it to be combusted. After a moment or two on conventional fuel, the Yellow Heat Furnace will operate continuously and thermostatically on moderately heated and unfiltered vegetable oil. You can heat your typical shop or other commercial space up to 5000 square feet on the Yellow Heat Furnace.

You can be as warm as you want to be on one-gallon of heating oil per day.

Yellow Heat Burner operates on unfiltered and lightly heated oil, either heating oil, waste motor oil or liquid vegetable oil.

Heat output is easily adjustable between 30,000 BTU per hour and over 150,000 BTU per hour. Tell us your intentions and we will help set up the burner for the proper range of outputs.

Yellow Heat Burner and oil handling system weights 80 pounds. It measures 18" long by 14" wide. It has a 4" diameter fire tube to connect to your boiler or furnace.The Yellow Heat Burner includes the oil storage, cleaning and dispensing system, which is based on a standard 55-gallon drum. This drum needs to be located near the Yellow Heat Burner.
